Production & Execution

Idea to Edit played a key role as a co-producer across Seasons 1 and 2, leading both pre-production and production from start to finish. Across two seasons, we successfully delivered 22 episodes, meeting the high production standards required by Warner Bros. Discovery.

Our responsibilities covered the full production pipeline, including budgeting, crew hiring, scheduling, and managing day-to-day operations on set. From early planning to final execution, the focus was on maintaining efficiency without compromising creative quality.

A core part of the production was building and operating a dedicated garage and filming set, where all vehicle transformations took place. This became the central environment for both the builds and the storytelling, allowing us to capture the full process, from concept to final reveal, with consistency and control.

We also led casting efforts nationwide, identifying and selecting deserving individuals from across the United States. Each story was carefully chosen to highlight people who had made meaningful contributions to their communities, bringing an emotional depth to the show that extended beyond the builds themselves.

In addition, we coordinated complex shoots across multiple high-profile locations, securing permits and overseeing production in places such as One World Trade Center, Atlanta Motor Speedway, and downtown New Orleans, along with several other key locations across the U.S.

From scheduling and logistics to on-ground execution, our focus was to ensure a smooth, high-quality production that met network expectations while delivering compelling, story-driven content.

Georgia Film Tax Credit

In addition to production, we managed the Georgia film tax credit process end-to-end, ensuring the project was structured to fully qualify under state guidelines.

Our work went beyond basic compliance. We built a system to track, document, and organize every eligible expense throughout production, including vendor payments, payroll, purchase orders, and location-based spend. This level of detail ensured that all financial activity was properly recorded, categorized, and audit-ready at any point.

We coordinated closely with accounting teams, vendors, and production departments to maintain accurate records, collect required documentation, and ensure all spending met Georgia’s qualification criteria. From onboarding local vendors to managing Georgia-based payroll and verifying eligible expenditures, every step was handled with the tax credit in mind.

By maintaining a clean, well-structured paper trail and aligning production operations with state requirements, we made the auditing and submission process seamless.

As a result, we successfully secured approximately $600,000 in tax credit reimbursement, maximizing the project’s financial efficiency and demonstrating our ability to manage and execute complex state incentive programs with confidence.

Branding & Creative Direction

Beyond production, we led the rebranding of ROYL Garage, evolving the identity from a vintage-inspired look to a more modern, bold, and performance-driven brand.

The original logo leaned heavily into a classic automotive aesthetic, which didn’t fully align with the energy and style of the builds featured on the show. Our goal was to create a visual identity that felt sharper, more current, and reflective of the high-impact transformations happening on screen.

We redesigned the logo with a cleaner structure, stronger typography, and a more confident visual presence, ensuring it translated seamlessly across digital, on-set environments, and physical applications like signage.

The updated identity was not just a design change; it became a key part of the show’s visual language. From garage branding to on-camera moments, the new ROYL Garage look helped elevate the overall production value and made the brand feel more aligned with a modern automotive audience.

Through this project, Idea to Edit established itself as a reliable production and operations partner capable of delivering at a network level.

Across two seasons, we successfully produced 22 episodes for Warner Bros. Discovery, managing complex, multi-location shoots while maintaining consistent quality and efficiency. From nationwide casting to building and operating a dedicated garage set, every part of the production was executed with precision.

Beyond creative and production, our work on the Georgia film tax credit resulted in approximately $600,000 in reimbursement, directly improving the financial performance of the project.

The success of this collaboration goes beyond a single show. It demonstrates Idea to Edit's ability to handle large-scale productions end-to-end, from concept and logistics to execution and financial optimization, making Idea to Edit a strong partner for brands, studios, and producers looking to create high-quality content while maximizing returns.
